Who do you have higher all-time??

Without thinking too much about it I would have Robinson slightly higher. I have both in a similar tier, with Robinson having a shorter/better Peak/Prime, Chris Paul having a longer time as a low level all-NBA/All-Star guy and both having their issues coupled with great success in the post-season.

Robinson was probably a higher impact player in his era, primarily due to his greater defensive impact. The question then becomes how much stronger is the league Paul played in than the era Robinson played in and even with that factor, I think I favor David Robinson.

I think Robinson's peak is a bit higher, though CP3 does have longevity. Drob was also pretty durable though, Paul not so much. Drob has 2 rings to his collection, Paul has 0. I'll say this much, given how often guys like KD and Curry have gotten hurt, I'm not sure how much Paul should be docked for that when no one seems to care when it comes to those 2.

I'm kind of interested in taking a deeper look and redoing my top 30 or so. I imagine Drob and Paul are very close, but Drob probably is a place or 2 higher. Paul is still adding all star caliber longevity, but I'm not really sure these type of seasons move the needle all that much.

All Time is undoubtedly David Robinson. 2 championships, an MVP and a DPOY >>> not having any of those lol.

How do you personally go about estimating how much tougher the current league is?

Very badly I'm afraid, but it does seem a necessary adjustment.

CP3 is clutch though?
