Definitely, but not much higher than HOF-line. If would say champion,HOF,Historic Era,Historic Decade,Historic Franchise,ATG,the Greatest 5 and the Greatest careers as the career levels; wouldn't put him on the historic era(3-7 years) level.

On his US career, he has to pay just like the rest of us but his international career should put him in.

I have Marc Gasol as the clear cut best player on the grit n' grind era Grizzlies. There were times when Zach Randolph or Mike Conley were more of an offensive focal point, but that team built their success on the back of Marc Gasol's genius backline defensive work.

He was never a huge counting stats guy, or an efficient scoring option, but he was a wheel greaser on offense (like a poor man's Kevin Garnett or David Robinson) with his high level passing and decent outside shooting. It was awesome when he finally started jacking 3s (2017) but ultimately he was a bit gun shy and overly insistent on passing. This insistence would cause him to ruin some offensive possessions by passing up an open 3 to look for a pass. He just refused to jack when sometimes his team needed him to, just to keep the offense from stagnating.

I'll never forget Marc Gasol's 2019 swan song. It was just one of the best stretches of basketball defense the world has ever seen. He plays elite defense on the way to an NBA championship, absolutely humiliating Vooch, Embiid, and Giannis. He then parties the hardest of any Raptor at the parade, hops on a plane to go to Eurobasket, and then proceeds to dominate all the best Euro bigs (Jokic, Scola etc.) and wins the Eurobasket championship. The guy deserves the hall of fame for 2019 alone. The fact that he already had a great NBA and international career is just a convenience.

Basically how I see, except I’d argue it’s the combo that puts him in. Swap Marc and Rubio’s NBA success, I’d put in Rubio over Marc.

Yes he is I think he helped cement his HoF when shut down Embiid in the playoffs as older vet. He has nba championship as key role player with all his other accolades he is for sure in
