2001-08, with possible choices of 1999 and 2000 as well. Different caliber of a player.

Sheed was really good, but dude was never a superstar. Id say probably from 1999-2012, with the exceptions of 2009, 2010 and 2011. I think people forget that KG was already getting all star selections in the 90s. I mean by 2000 he was clearly better.

How do you feel about 2012? The Celtics were a few minutes away from the finals and KG put up 19/10 with dpoy type defense in the playoffs. Seems better than peak Sheed to me even if he couldn’t play super high minutes in the regular season.

I thought about Celtics KG as well (not only 2012, but even 2010) and you might be right - 2012 KG was good enough in postseason to pick him over peak Sheed. That means that I should take 1999 and 2000 versions without thinking twice as well.

I'd rather have the old KG (10-12) than Sheed, maybe by 13 he had lost enough
