Which duo would you rather build a new team around?

Without knowing anything else, I'd take a risk and go with Nash/Wilt. I think they fit better next to each other and they give me more flexibility for creating a team.

So Dirk is one of the best offensive anchors ever and Admiral one of the best defensive anchors and now he gets to be a secondary option from the jump? Yeah sign me up for all the titles please.

Other duo you could say similar things about except Nash takes a really long time to ramp up and you don't know for sure if Wilt is going to buy in to the idea that once he does, the offense has to go through Nash.

One is as sure a thing as these things get and one is well not.

Good point about Nash needing time to develop. That said, Robinson has extremely short prime and you'd have to have him in the roster for the first 3 years without playing. So I don't think it's as easy as you described.

Nash wasn't high volume scorer and Wilt fit really well next to Hal Greer in his prime (not to mention taking a step back for Jerry West later). Wilt also came into the league with defensive minded approach, he was changed into super highcvolume guy by coaches I don't see any issues here.

Dirk/Drob is tempting, but i just think their fit on offense is a bit weird. Going Nash/Wilt but I admit there's questions about them as well.
