How far can this Porter Jr + Bridges team go?

For next season. Assume no injury or health concerns with MPJ coming back. The starting lineup is for small ball but you have Mitchell Robinson when needed.

PG: Kevin Porter Jr.
SG: Mikal Bridges
SF: Michael Porter Jr.
PF: Miles Bridges
C: Otto Porter Jr.

Bench: Cameron Payne, Evan Fournier, Mitchell Robinson
Question: Can you add one player to make them a strong contender? The player should not have made into 1st team all-nba.

Maybe 35 wins? This team is not good. All role players and a bad "PG" does not make a good team.

MPJ is a max player; Miles Bridges is likely demanding max this year; Mikal @ $20M/yr is a steal. The other pieces are all quality rotation players. Not enough for a playoff spot?

Maybe can squeak into the play-ins, but not a top 6 slot for sure. Lead guard play just too weak. Having only one real big is also obviously a problem.

i dont think kpj is really a true pg, the team has a glaring weakness in playmaking. and yeah big man depth is bad too

That team would be terrible

He’s a max player by contract only. What has he shown to be deserving of a max?

MPJ is a 6'11 natural shooter with a career 43% in 3s. His draft comparison was KD, not going to be there but still a unicorn player...

The bench being better than most the starters makes this a strange thread...........

Who said bench has to be worse than starters? 2015 FMVP Iguodala only started 3 out of 98 games in 2015, regular and playoffs combined. ............

Why is Payne, Robinson, and Fournier randomly on the bench? What connection do they have with Bridges or Porter Jr?

Find a bench were all 3 guys have the same las name.

Edit OK, here's what I have got
Bench, both centers are better at center than Otto Porter playing out of posittion at center
Mitchel Robinson, another center for deep bench Jeremiah Robinson from OKC, G Jerome Robison former NBA player playing in G-League, Duncan Robinson from the Heat, Glenn Robinson 111 cut by Kings last fall can probably play but not well. Point guard Justin Robinson played on 3 NBA teams this year

Steven Adams C, with Adams a beast stong man and Mitchel Robinson shot blocker this team is strong at center
Jaylen Adams point guard in Austrailian league, played 2 years in NBA, 25 years old. Jordan Adams guard, played in the NBA and is still young, don't know if he is playing someplace, gave up basketball or blew out his knee

So what does this give you, strong at center. Probably weak at point guard. OK to good at other positions.
A playoff team but not a championship contender

I will give you Jeff Green/Josh Green/Danny Green/Draymond Green and you can shuffle starters.

All the Porter juniors was cute; too bad they were not that good.

I like Mikal Bridges quite a bit. Adams and Mitchel Robison is a strong pair at center. Duncan Robison can shoot. The team's depth is good. The only problem is point guard.

Yea and it just so happens that every contender usually has an elite PG / primary ball handler.

You really have no shot creation on that team

For a guy that does not drive and kick Draymond always finds the open man and racks up assists. Draymond does not create the open man except through screening. This team would have to play Warriors style. Moving without the ball and setting a lot of screens.
