Which Defensive Wing would you choose to defend KD and Lebron if you had to go through both of them for a 7 game series?
There are some players who would be a better defensive match up for Lebron than KD and likewise...
But which defensive player would do the best overall job on both of them in back to back 7 game series?

Damn I voted for Scottie but in retrospect Young Rodman might've frustrated both of them more. I could see him actually getting into KD's head.
LeBron's NBA Cup MVP is more valuable than either of KD's Finals MVPs. This is the word of the Lord

It's between Artest and Rodman(Detorit version) for me I think.

That's exactly how I voted - just think that Rodman was most likely to get in their heads and having impact that way.

Tony Allen did the best job I've ever seen on KD, however I think he would have too small of a body to defend Lebron for long periods at a time. He did play more SG I believe given his length

I have no idea about Rodman but Artest is too small and not quick enough imo. This is Lebron in his physical prime (25) and Artest at (30) so still close to his physical prime, and this is pre post game Lebron:

That's 40 seconds clip and Artest wasn't in his prime by then. Not saying that you are wrong, but your post proves nothing.

Off the top of my head I think I'd go Iguodala.
We know how well he did vs LeBron, and Durant has historically been more bothered by smaller guys anyway (although maybe not anymore)

This place is a cesspool of mindless ineptitude, mental decrepitude, and intellectual lassitude. I refuse to be sucked any deeper into this whirlpool of groupthink sewage. My opinions have been expressed. I'm going to go take a shower.

You think a clip of 3 possessions is supposed to prove something? Calling him too small to guard Lebron is really weird given the other guys on this list. He was listed around 6’7 260 with the Lakers, and probably more like 240-250 with the Pacers realistically. How is that smaller than Pippen, or Kawhi?

I think my answer here heavily depends on what iteration of Lebron.

I'd also argue that post up against Artest in the 2nd clip was an offensive foul, Lebron pretty much just elbowed his way through. That's back when Lebron's post game wasn't that great yet, not because he wasn't strong enough but because his skill and footwork wasn't developed.

1- prime lebron (miami) guards prime KD...i think lebron focused soley on defending KD would be exciting...ofc he would not stop KD .. would he be able to hold KD to below 25 and less than 40 fg%??
2- Bam Adebayo Guarding prime Lebron

For Lebron. All options are fine. They won't do **** without the giant rim protector.
It's the 1/2 combo of a Kawhi/ Tim Duncan, Marion/ Chandler, Butler/ Noah or a George/ Hibbert that has shown some ability to slow him down a bit.
Iguodala or Green or Durant on their own have done a really good job individually (eye test) and Lebron still averages like 33 per game on them. Without that rim protector you can only do so much against Lebron.
Against KD it was always the guys that could mess with his handle at least in the OKC days. He has a great handle for a 7 footer he's still a 7 footer. Someone who isn't completely hopeless against him in the post and forced him to play more off ball messed with KD's rhythm a lot. Tony Allen, Kawhi, Iguodala, even CP3 in that 2014 series, someone who can really pressure up and swipe at your handle. KD is an amazing off ball player but his ISO ability and ability to get to a spot and pull up and score is what makes him special.

Voted Rodman. Not just because of his all-around defensive skills but he is relentless on the offensive boards. KD, LeBron, anyone but Clark Kent would be exhausted trying to box him off the glass all game long.

If we're getting Kawhi's defensive peak, he's the best combination of disruptive hands, strength, and length.

If that's what you would go who actually played together, but if we are going all time
Hakeem Olajuwon at Center, and probably the best 1-1 lock down SF of all time in Artest

06-10 Lebron (when he still had an explosive first step) - I want probably prime Iguodala (someone slightly smaller with excellent lateral quickness but still with solid strength).
11 - Present - probably Pippen or Leonard.

Marion as he did.

On paper at least it would be Pippen. He has the strength and the length to bother both Lebron and KD.
