So either way, they probably at best become a PT trainer at the local gym.

Top 30 player, borderline all-star. Tyler Herro is not very consistent and isnt' resilient (he's super young).

If he stayed healthy, top 20 player. Caruso's D is game-changing

His playoff TS% is like 44 right now and last year it was 45. To put things in perspective, Laker Westbrook is 51 TS%.

Those guys are like 4 tiers above him as offensive players if Herro doesn't step it up in the post season.

I mean lol you're talking about literally 2 games this season vs Atlanta in the playoffs and 4 last year when Miami got swept by the champs while disregarding the 21 game sample size at 55TS% as a rookie as well as the the season he just had at 56TS%. That's some clown analysis especially if we're comparing him to Zach Lavine who just played his 2nd playoff game in 8 years last night. Are you also gonna bring up Donovan Mitchell having 42TS% in a playoff series at the same age Herro is now? Come on now.

As to the OP, it says how good COULD Tyler Caruso be. Realistically, top 15 in the NBA if you're combining the best attributes and they get to be 22 years old. Not there right now obviously, but Tyler Caruso is a substantially better prospect than any of those guys or even a Devin Booker based on 2 way ability. That's a ceiling of top 15 for sure.

Uh huh...I think you have no idea what you're talking about in regards to how good Tyler Herro is. His season average is 56TS IN THE REGULAR SEASON - which is more than two games. That isn't anything special, that's literally average.

If your SEASON AVERAGE is the LEAGUE AVERAGE, then do you think you're going to score well in the playoffs? Legitimate question


If you think Zach Lavine and Tyler Herro are anything close to each other offensively, then you have no idea what you're talking about. You're basically saying he is as good as Demar Derozan.

Lavine is a shot creator, who averages more points on much better efficiency. Tyler Herro is two tiers below him at the very least, and if Herro isn't any good in the playoffs then why wouldn't the gap be bigger?

So he's Caruso with a 3pt shot. Probably a low-tier all-star I'd say (top 25), Caruso is already top 50ish for me.

Some people in this thread have absolutely BAFFLING takes here. If there was a 22 year old 6'7 athletic wing who just put up 20/5/5 on 56TS% whose offensive skillset included shooting from midrange and 3pt, has all the pull ups, floaters, finishing at the rim, the ability to run PnR, AND was already an all NBA caliber defender that would be one of the most sought after young players in the league. Saying a player like that could be top 15-20 in the NBA is likely underrating the potential and people are acting as if that's blasphemous.

The question isn't about his potential. The question is how good would a hypothetical player with the attributes of Herro and Carus be RIGHT NOW.

And right now Herro is putting up these numbers against bench units on a team where he's the 4th best player.
