Alex Caruso vs RJ Barrett

This is a topic that seems to trigger many Knicks fans against TheAthletics' Seth Partnow, who ranked Caruso higher for last year and (likeley) this year.
Who do you think should be ranked higher for the 2022/23 season?
I have to admit I haven't watched much of the Knicks this year.

Caruso is a better player, just most fans have a hard time rating defensive players. RJ Barrett is a faux volume scorer.

I think RJ did have a hot start or something because I remember Knicks fans were getting real uppity about him. He's nothing special (for a big time prospect). In his prime he probably will be better than Caruso, but as of now, what would be his use to any team with serious aspirations?

Barrett has been almost as ineffective as a scorer as Caruso this year but with none of the playmaking or defense. I do see Barrett having a much higher ceiling as I think Caruso is pretty much performing at his peak right now as a 28 year old but just for next season with the info we have? Caruso.
