I think all-star is a safer bet, although it's not impossible for him to reach that level. I don't think he has the potential to be consistent all-nba candidate though

Ceiling for Maxey is a low level all star. A top 25-30 ish nba player. The kid is just 21 years old. He turns 22 in 6 months. He’s young. Will have his ups and down. He’s also getting better defensively. He short 6 foot 2 for a shooting guard. But he’s got longer wingspan for someone his height. 6 foot 8 wingspan. Where Tyler herro has 6 foot 3 wingspan for his 6 foot 5 height. Herro has a very short wingspan for his height.

I don’t think he can ever be the number 1 guy like Donovan Mitchell on a winning team. He’s more of a number 2.5-3 guy on a winning team. Right now. He’s the 3.5-4th option.

I'd say Mitchell level is possible, but there have been superstars who came out of nowhere before. Like a wide receiver, you can't teach speed.
