It's on youtube. I haven't watched it but I'm guessing Lebron will be 1 and where Jordan will be placed is anybody's guess.

That’s pretty accurate. He’s very much a LeBron fanboy.

My favorite comment of his was when he said Duncan and Kobe won titles under Jordan's watch because Jordan was playing for Washington.

And I am someone who think Lebron has the best case for best player of all time and have plenty of times ranked Jordan as 3.

He's probably closest to following the Skip Bayless playbook of trolling, hating and stanning. These guys know what they're doing.

Skip or Nick are WWE heels. They're actually quite enjoyable in small youtube doses. They're quite intelligent people, saying stuff they know is absurd to get ratings and make money.

This is contrasted with commentators who are on official broadcasts and are presented to the audience as offering serious analysis when they haven't done any homework. They tell audiences untrue things which understandbly get accepted because they are presented as experts who you should listen to. Those guys are actually pernicious and have lowered basketball knowledge.

Skip and Nick by contrast present themselves with all the seriousness of the Undertaker.

I find him more on the annoying side. Not as annoying to me as Skip but I don’t care to watch. He’s not all wrong in the things he says but he has an obvious pro LeBron bias.

I'll add to my comparison to WWE guys that given the fact they are all absurd their presentation is all that matters in your individual evaluation. Do you enjoy listening to this person? If so they are good at their job. If not, turn it off.

Cowherd is a WWE heel commentator too but I'd never listen to him because I dislike him in a "you're a prick" mode as opposed to disliking him because "you're a Darth Vader" mode.

I don't have time to listen to the rant but I will say out of all the major athletes of my life, other than Jeter in baseball circles, Jordan received the most biased, positive coverage.

The media went out of the way to minimize or portray Jordan's flaws as positives. They allowed him to present a public image of himself that was widely different than the real man.

Nick Wright gets thrown into the Skip category because he has made some questionable takes over the years, however imo he has matured over time and if you actually look at his breakdowns for each player it has quite a bit of depth. Now it still has some bias to it but for the most part he paints a pretty good picture of each player.

Nick Wright seems like a smart guy who knows what he's doing with the over-the-top LeBron worship. His general knowledge of the NBA is pretty good, but he's purposely playing a character. Much like Skip Bayless with the over-the-top LeBron dissection (Gianni & Luka seem to be his new targets), he's carved out a niche as Sport TV's resident contrarian with the "conventional" wisdom.

Nick's smart and definitely has more substance to his takes than Skip, but he still goes overboard with the Lebron bias at times, and this is coming from a big Lebron fan. With that being said, he's infinitely better than Skip in terms of actual analysis and does offer a counterbalance to the Jordan worship that's common in sports media.

Jordan Rules - best selling book written during his career
David Anderson article on him out the night before the game gambling in the wee hours of the night.
Criticism of him ousting Isiah from the Dream Team.
Everything in his baseball career.
Multiple times not being voted MVP by media, espcially 97 where he led league in scoring and was all-defense for team with best record, yet didn't win MVP

The media at the time did not go out of their way to minimize his flaws. His advertisers (of course) did and were very successful, and the Documentary very obviously did, as you can see MJ's editorial control all over it.

If he's asked to talk about general lists of players or analyzing a series, he's pretty good. Problem is the NBA media has this annoying "MJ VS. LEBRON!!!" undercurrent that has infected a lot of so-called analysis.

Yea he's definitely playing a character when he talks about Lebron, just like Skip is with MJ.

the only good argument i've ever made him make in the last year was for kareem vs mj and he immediatley forgot how to make good arguments when chris responded to that. His lebron arguments are usually terrible. Was on the money with giannis in 2021 tho.

He's very good at narrative crafting though. First things First has some really strong storyteeling **** fwiw
