If you don't go down the road arguing personality conflicts, they win at least 6 from 2011-2016, and LeBron would not have to leave.

Re: Replace Wade with Kobe on Heat
They may beat Dallas in 2011, so possible threepeat but they don't best the Spurs in 2014. He doesn't win anything before Lebron gets there and in reality would've likely left grumbling by 2010.

That's the best LeBron overlapped with the best Kobe. Which team can go over 5 games with them? I am proud of the 11 Mavs but Kobe in his peak form was giving the Mavs most trouble.

well for one i just think 6peating is an incredibly tall task and difficult to do no matter how good a team is
but i am not sure how confident we should be that this hypothetical 2016 heat team would be better than the 2016 warriors

2016 Warriors do not have talent advantage, and will be lack of championship experience were they lost in 2015.

if ur factoring in something like championship experience then we need to consider championship fatigue
steve kerr has talked about the emotional toll during the bulls dynasty + the championship fatigue that fans didn't really see.
just basing the outcome off of talent isn't really reasonable either imo. the warriors weren't 73-9 just because of talent, they had incredible chemistry that helped them play together as a unit which can't be ignored.
and i mean they also had great talent with two all-time greats in curry and draymond peaking.
cant forget that this isn't peak kobe. this is 2011 kobe who was very overrated on the defensive end at this point
so the heat would have like..
'16 dragic, '11 kobe, '16 lebron, '16 iso joe, '16 whiteside, '16 deng, '16 stoudemire
not sure how much u trust the rookies (winslow, richardson)
vs
'16 curry, '16 dray, '16 klay, '16 bogut, '16 iggy, '16 barnes
meh im just not that confident.
i prefer the way the 2016 cavs were built. i lowkey prefer the '16 kyrie - '16 lebron over '11 kobe - '16 lebron fit too with how kyrie/kobe performed in the 2016/2011 playoffs respectively..

You right, too many things could be fermenting during that long of a run.

Re: Replace Wade with Kobe on Heat
Definitely 4-peat from '11-'14. After that it depends if LeBron stays or not.
They would likely still win in '15 considering LeBron almost beat the '15 Warriors by himself, tho I think they lose in '16.
So we are looking at 4 or 5 rings depending on how long LeBron stays.

Re: Replace Wade with Kobe on Heat
What's the argument for them winning in 2011 with Kobe over Wade?
Wade wasn't the issue in that series and Kobe's defense was horrific in 2006 compared to his other seasons.
I don't really see the Heat improving that much. Whatever gains they might make offensively that season, they lose with Kobe's poor defense. The Heat's blitzing defense that troubled Rose gets much worse with Kobe too. Wade/Kobe are the same caliber of player to me.
I'm curious if anyone has a good argument supporting Kobe in this case.
