Thought this could be interesting.

In order to qualify, a player has to dominate the best/hottest team in his own conference*, and the best/hottest team in the other conference.

For the most part playoff comparisons are uneven because of the disparate number of playoff rounds based on format changes. But there have always been conference finals and championship series.

Who makes the top of your list? A guy can get hot for one series, but for two? Less likely to be streaky.

i think lebron was really good in 2012, his play in both series was fantastic even tough his jumper went cold in the finals

jordan 91 is a stromg contender, he murdered the competition that season with a unusually high scoring efficiency along with his usual package of all around goodness, may be my pick here

duncan 2003 is slept on a bit cause nets are not seen as a worthy opponent, but he dominated that series and was a monster against lakers

wade 2006 destroyed the pistons before destroying the mavs
