Make the best team by combining two 2022 rosters

Pretty self explanatory I think. Players must have played in half of the regular season games and are at their best physical condition during the 2021-22 season.

Warriors and Jazz would be interesting

- An almost incomprehensible level of perimeter scoring balanced with the interior/vertical gravity of Gobert
- Gobert and Draymond anchoring and quarterbacking the defense behind competent perimeter defenders.. wow

No Horford?

You think Donovan Mitchell would be able to handle being a 6th man or are you considering him a competent perimeter defender?

Warriors/Nuggets

Curry/Morris
Klay/Poole
Wiggins/OPJ
Draymond/Green
Jokic/Looney

Motion offense, similar defensive scheme as Warriors typically run, add one of the highest BBIQ players to the most BBIQ-intensive schemes.

Another dynamic duo would be Bucks/Wolves

Jrue Holiday/Patrick Beverley
Anthony Edwards/Pat Connaughton
Khris Middleton/Jaden McDaniels
Giannis Antetokounmpo/Bobby Portis
Karl-Anthony Towns/Brook Lopez

I didn't realize OP also implied actual number of games played lol... if we're assuming health, I don't know that there's a better combination of two teams on both ends. If we're taking it as it actually played out:

Holiday
Smart
Tatum
Antetokoumpo
Horford

Defensively, you won't find a better team; and though the floor spacing isn't perfect, it's still pretty darn good for Giannis to do his thing. Multiple ball-handlers too. Rebounding is stellar.

I'm saying neither

Mitchell can be a starter and Dray/Gobert can be surrounded by competent perimeter defenders. This isn't a mutually exclusive scenario

Sounds great on paper to add the current MVP to a Curry team but how would this translate to a similar defensive scheme as Warriors typically run?

And when you look at this rotation you have here, you're essentially just adding Jokic to the current Warriors (as opposed to combining teams). So if we're adding one player, why add Jokic instead of Giannis to this current Warriors team? The former seems like some offensive playmaking overlap with a reduction in defensive value while the later seems like added dimensions on both sides of the court

Jrue
Middleton
Doncic
DFS
Giannis

With Brunson, Dinwiddie, Lopez, Kleiber, Portis of the bench

Pretty good

Jokic can play the Looney role in a similar fashion.

Because Giannis isn't the type of player who necessarily excels in a motion offense. He isn't the type of player who is as portable offensively and he tends to dominate the ball in a way not conductive to maximizing a team like the Warriors theoretical offensive ceiling.

Embiid
Tatum
Brown
Harden
Smart
