Do the Bulls of the early 1970's win a ring with Gilmore

I think they do win at least one ring as those mid-1970 Bulls teams with a starting lineup of Gilmore Walker, Love, Sloan, and Van Lier would be insane on defence.
And I can see them winning a title in 1973 with Gilmore as they matched up incredibly well with the Lakers and New york.
They also would have a great shot in 1975 as they made it to the WCF before losing to the Warriors in game seven by four points.

Yes, I think they'd have a case in 1973 (and maybe 1974?). It's not a given though, this era is very top heavy.
The interesting idea is how Gilmore would fit in those Bulls teams. Chicago run good passing centers ans I don't think Gilmore would do well in that role. On the other hand, their already great defense would be all-time great.
I'm almost sure they would have won the title in 1975 though.

Artis was a beast in his early days and he wouldn't have to play heavy minutes with Boerwinkle behind him.

Those Bulls vs Laker playoff match-ups would have been downright awesome as seeing an old Wilt vs a young Gilmore would have been epic.
I can see Gilmore ensuring that the Bulls win over the Lakers in 1971 and 1973.
