I don't think any if its a matter of inserting them onto a team with the goal of winning a title that year. As in no triangle, no Phil, just them in a void. There's a few years from Kobe you could definitely make arguments for though which is credible.

LeBron really did lose a fair bit of explosiveness that year.

2006-09 for sure, possibly 2001 and 2003.

Maybe 01, 06, 08 and 09.

But LeBron was still very good in 2011. It's just the finals meltdown.

Maybe none, at most 08 and 09

Probably the majority of his prime seasons

LeBron in 2011 was a significantly better passer and defender than Kobe has ever been in his career while being at minimum comparable as a scorer to every Kobe season besides 06. None.

Only 08/01 has a case. '11 was Lebron's most inferior version from 08-'18 but he still outclasses the majority of Kobe's prime because he was just simply a better all around player.

Can someone more knowledgeable tell me in what ways was Lebron worse in 2011 than he was in 2010 and 2012? Sure you can point to some supposed finals meltdown and overall production numbers but I’m interested in knowing how did it specifically look different on the court.

LeBron had difficulty integrating with his new team during the 2010-11 season. That said, his performance in the 2010 playoffs, particularly the Boston series, wasn't that great either. I'd take the 2007 playoffs, as well as 2007-08 and 2008-09 version of LeBron over the 2010-11 version any day. No need to explain why the 2012 and 2013 versions of LeBron are better than the 2011 version.

Why was he better in 2012 and 2013 than in 2011?

LeBron was better integrated with his team in 2012 and 2013, and he knew his role, which was to be the main superstar, as Dwyane Wade was starting to decline.

pretty sure the only answer is zero. Lebron in his prime was simply better than Kobe was.

Yeah, I say none as well and don't think it's difficult.

If he was simply better... how come he couldn't beat an "old" Dallas with Wade and Bosh and Bibby and Haslem and Chalmers and Mike Miller? Tsk, tsk.

If I'm drafting the players to build a team - none. For who had the better season - '08 and '09 Kobe.
