Ironic enough, Curry has been clearly better on defense this year than Durant. Durant’s never been all that active off-ball and is no longer a good one-on-one defender. He’s also been getting bullied more inside whereas the trend is going the opposite way for Curry.

i was more thinking about their peaks but you are probably right

the main thingh imo that stopped durant from reaching curry or maybe even lebron peak heights is that he could never create nearly as much as them

his handle and vision were never good enough to do lebron things, and his off ball movement while good was never curry level good (maybe an area where being shorter helps curry)

Wardell, but if you gave KD 2015 and 2020 back it'd be a little closer for me. Clearly better peak and prime IMO

Curry and I had him higher before this season.

Only argument Durant would have is better prime longevity, for who's the higher impact player it's not even an argument for me.

Durant won his 2 rings on Curry's team, enough said. I've already said this, Curry is the most impactful player in this 3 point era. He is the reason for this style of play throughout the league. Nobody puts more fear in opposing team's defense than him. He is the face of the league. Durant has to win another title for this to even be a comparison.
