I think Giannis is the best player in the league right now, Jokic and Curry for 2 and 3 spots.

And then from 4-7 it's interchangable. With not a huge gap between any of them.

Right now I'd go

#1.) Giannis 96
#2.) Jokic 95
#3.) Curry 95
#4.) Embiid 94
#5.) KD 94
#6.) Luka 94
#7.) Lebron 93

1. Jokic
2. Giannis
3. Curry
4. LeBron
5. Durant or Luka (leaning KD and voted for him)

I'm not expecting a cliff yet. I think he was pretty clearly the best 37 year old we've ever seen last year and I think he might be top 5-7 player next year.

In all honesty I don’t think bron the player in 2022 was far worse than bron the player in 2020 (who I would certainly have as the best player), his impact decreased severely but I’m pretty sure we’ll see it rise next year especially if Westbrook is gone

Durant not being top 5 is testament to how blind people are by narratives and recency bias.

He's the best player in the league next to Giannis and Curry.

36-19 record with him playing this year. 8-19 without him. Had one bad series in a year where the Nets were doing random things with roster.

Last year could have easily won a championship with either a healthy squad or foot not on the line.

30/7/6 on 63-66% TS. Two way player. One of the most talented players ever in their prime being discounted because of 1 week of play.
