Who Peaked Higher? Hakeem, Wilt, or Kareem

Bill Russell is considered the greatest defensive player of all time at ALL positions. And Wilt isn't considered that far behind him.

And IMO Wilt is the greatest offensive Center of all time comfortably. I think Wilt is both a half a tier better offensively and defensively than Kareem

Wilt is 1 tier defensively behind Hakeem, but 2 tiers ahead offensively.

So I'd rank them

Wilt 98
Kareem 97
Hakeem 96.5

Very close between all three I would go

I have Kareem as the greater center of all time, simply because he had more accomplishments and more rings while being roughly an equal player, but just to me I thought Prime for Prime Wilt was a better player.

I'm not sure why you are listing their heights but Hakeem was more like 6-10 if not lower barefoot. At the start of his career they listed him at 7-0 then later on it got reduced to 6-10.

This is a tough one but relative to era I think its probably Wilt. Then Kareem just barely ahead of Hakeem. Part of that is there are innate advantages to being his size as a post player/paint defender.

I prefer Hakeem, but all 3 answers are fine.

Kareem had the best career, but no one in the history of basketball had a higher peak than Wilt. He averaged 50 points and 25 rebounds during the 1961-62 season, and that will never be matched.

i'd go wilt > kareem > hakeem. i have a hard time putting hakeem anywhere but #3 here.

Anybody who says there is no debate here either has hidden agenda, or simply lacks in understanding of the sport we're talking about.

These three are extremely close at their absolute bests and any order is fine, depending on what your team really needs.

Well then you're going to have to make your case. If were measuring peak by relative dominance then I see Wilt as the clear first, Kareem a clear second, and Hakeem 3rd.

Man, I'm not that smart to differenciate between the three. I think they peaked about the same, give or take fractions of a point.

Don't think we have the data to do such a precise analysis, either.

I have it Kareem-Wilt-Hakeem but it is very close. I certainly wouldn't argue with someone who has a different order.
