Which duo would you rather build a new team around?

Why? That wouldn't be fair.

JordansBulls wrote:Curry and Malone. Curry has shown he can win multiple titles for the franchise that drafted him even though the franchise was no good before him going there. Malone also got a team to the finals multiple times going thru Hakeem/Drexler/Pippen, Duncan/Robinson, Shaq/Kobe/Jones/Van Exel.

Winning a title for a franchise that never won before is the most important criteria and the Warriors had already won 3 titles before Curry. You have to be consistent and pick LeBron here. He won a title for a franchise that never won before and that drafted him, as the only All Star on his team, and he did it all without HCA.

I didn't say for a franchise that never won I said for the franchise that drafted him. Lebron left his team and only won 1 title. Curry won 4 titles for a franchise that had won in 40 years and Lebron was stacking the deck. I mean he didn't even make the playoffs with prime Westbrook.

I didn't say for a franchise that never won I said for the franchise that drafted him. Lebron left his team that drafted him and came back and only won 1 title and needed to suspend someone for that to happen. Curry won 4 titles for a franchise that hadn't won in 40 years and Lebron was stacking the deck going from team to team (Chris Russo on First Take also mentioned that). I mean he didn't even make the playoffs with prime Westbrook last year and Westbrook made the playoffs every year since rookie year he played with another star for 40+ games..

LeBron made the finals with Larry Hughes and Jordan couldn't even make the playoffs with him in his prime in 2003....That says it all
