1. 2017 Curry
2. 2016 Curry
3. 2004 KG
4. 2003 KG
5. 2008 KG
6. 2018 Curry
7. 2021 Curry
8. 2015 Curry
HMs:
9. 2002 KG (6 to 10 range for me)
10. 2019 Curry (7 to 10 range)
11. 2006 KG
12. 2000 KG
13. 2001 KG
14. 2005 KG
15. 2022 Curry
16. 2007 KG
17. 2014 Curry
2009 KG is weird because the injury and no playoffs but would probably rank in the 14-18 range
Steph probably still edges out the top 8 seasons for me because I think he's still just a better player p4p and idt he fluctuates his quality like crazy when healthy but it's also so hard because of injuries and I don't know exactly how to weigh them

If you add up the rankings it goes Curry 66 to KGs 103. That's a hell of a difference if you ask me. Not really all that close.

Yeah I was considering moving 2018 lower but when he was actually playing I think he was pretty similar in quality to how he was in 2016 and 2017 and he did play 15 games in the playoffs. I might still do it though but my answer to the original question doesn't really change.
Proxy wrote:What other "prime" KG years(so more than one) deserve to be considered *clearly* higher than 2014 Steph? 2009?(Fair enough, I do think he was better when healthy and I did say I could see him at the top of that range) 1999? 2011 or 2012?(Could also buy 2012 based on his playoff performance) C'mon now I can't see how that is nearly as egregious are you are making it out to be
No-more-rings wrote:He missed 31 regular season games plus 6 games in the playoffs. On availability alone, it's not really conceivable that season ranks higher than healthy KG. And honestly his playoff run was pretty underwhelming even when he did get in there, they came very close to losing to an inferior Rockets team and that was arguably not even a top 5 playoff run for Curry.

That's... a pretty silly way to rank players. Just adding up the rankings means players get less points for having the better rankings and more points for having worse rankings. .
Let's take the most extreme example.... let's say Player A gets every year from Rank #1 to #8, while Player B gets every year from Rank #9 to #16. Then Player A gets 36 points while Player B gets 100 points. In this method, you'd be penalizing Player A for having fewer points, despite literally every year of Player A being better than Player B...
