Who's the player you'd prefer to build around?

Fairly promising rookie season, even more promising 2nd season, but the third best guard on a mediocre team, we're not talking prime MJ here. Then proceeding to demonstrate mediocre impact as the lead guard on two absolutely terrible teams.
What exactly are folks expecting from SGA?

Are you accounting for the absurd difference in spacing and playmaking around them?
Shai scoring efficiency at the rim for a player with 2000's level spacing around him at times is nothingh short of absurd

As a Thunder fan you should remember this better: https://www.basketball-reference.com/playoffs/2018-nba-western-conference-first-round-jazz-vs-thunder.html
Ingles is a stud, but we've seen plenty of Don without good spacing around him.

28 points at league average efficiency with less than 3 assists per game (with +30% usage)
Shai has better scoring and creation seasons in tanking teams with no spacing
