Who peaked higher as of now?

Oladipo’s peak was literally one season that ended in a first round loss. I have to go with Booker by default.

I'm not particularly high on Devin Booker, but I do not see any argument for Dipo here at all.

Oladipo was a legit great defender in his best offensive season. Victor in general was highly impactful defensively for his position. That's his argument here to me.

This is easily Oladipo for me. Devin Booker is not bringing the 2018 Pacers to the playoffs at all, let alone to a 5-seed and an incredibly close seven-game series against Lebron. Sad how injuries took that away.

There are certainly more arguments for Booker.

Oladipo was a Superb, all-defensive 1st team level defender. Excellent point-of-attack defender with enough size to guard decent sized [Not the largest] wings and guards.

Where I would push back on Oladipo is most of his offensive value came on-ball. How far or good is an offense with Oladipo providing 30% Usage really going to be? How much value does Oladipo provide offensive while a 2nd fiddle [or 3rd fiddle]?

It's fairly easy to see Booker as a 1B and 2nd Option offensive [Hell he is a better 1st option and as a scorer than Oladipo] given his skill-set which obviously scales well next to other ball handlers [CP3].

Is Oladipo's defensive advantage enough to overcome what I consider a large offensive gap? Possibly.

We were unfortunately robbed of an extended prime of Oladipo due to injuries.

I know it doesn't mean a lot, but here are the Pacers high minutes guys in 2018 for Defensive On/Off

Oladipo: -8.6
Thad: -5.2
Bojan: -3.2
Joseph: +0.4
Collison: +2.0
Stephenson: +6.9
Turner: -2.1
Sabonis: +0.2

The team was somehow the 13th ranked defense and a crazy 105.5 Drtg with Oladipo on the court [-3.1 Rel Lg Average] with the only + defenders being Oladipo and Thad [Maybe 21 year old Turner as well].

This is better than the year prior with 75 games of Paul George.

I dont think people realize how good Oladipo was before his injury. His defense was crazy good, I think more impressive than his scoring - which isn't that far behind Devin Booker's unless I am missing something.

He made the top 3 peaks for Indiana and it wasn't very controversial. There aren't any superstars in Indiana history, but there are a lot of all-nba guys. (McGinnis, O'Neal, Brown, Daniels, Artest)

The Suns were a pretty talented team on offense, I don’t know what makes you think they be markedly worse on offense with Oladipo in Booker’s place.

Pacers really outplayed the Cavs that series, and LeBron being anything other than his scoring best sees the Pacers win.

Pacers with Oladipo on court: 111.6 ORtg, 99.0, +12.6 per 100 possessions
Pacers in the 75 minutes Oladipo was off court: -11.0 per 100 possessions
