Probably two, maybe four?

16, 17 and maybe 21, 22

Not sure if any, but I'd probably consider 2015-17 and 2021.

2016, 2017 and 2021, I'd also consider 2015 and 2019.

Both are guys you want as your franchise player.

I feel 21/22 strengthen curry's peak case.

21, without curry, warriors play like the worst team in the league, with him they play at a 45 win pace.

22, without curry(and with klay) warriors play sub.500 and with him they are playing 60 win ball in the regular season and then it translates super well in the playoffs. Makes it easier for me to consider his playoff follies as blips(maybe injury induced) as opposed to indications his supreme rs impact is kinda meh.

It's honestly hard for me to thikn of a case for even the best of wade vs 22 curry but i'd be interested in hearing a peak wade case from you

2009-2010 wade showed comparable floorraising results and 2006 elevated a much less talented team that its names would suggest (shaq declined a fair bit by 2006 from his already post prime 2004-2005 years) and the rest of the roster was very unremarkable imo

They are close enough where my team makeup would probably make the difference. I think I'd prefer Wade in most reasonable scenarios.

I'd probably prefer Curry on the Heatles and Wade on the Super Warriors oddly enough though, lol.

well the 60 win pace without klay is honestly kind of absurd. I have doubts you could push for wade being comparable in the regular season, playoffs maybe

Less than one full season pace can be a bit misleading sample tbh, but yeah, that was hella impressive

well it tranks with 2020(20 without, 47 with) and the plus minus data we have from 15-17

I would argue that in his floor raising seasons like 2009 or 2010 wade was in much worse rosters than the klay-less 2022 warriors

Hell, i would honestly see a good case that the 2022 warriors are a better supporting cast than the 2006 heat while we are at it.

Draymond in 2022 impact may be honestly comparable to well past his prime shaq (sacrilegious as it may sound, by 2006 heat went as wade did regardless of shaq playing or not) and wiggins-poole are better than washed up gary payton or jason williams

weren't the heat like 40+ wins without wade in 06 with shaq leading in his absence

2022 warriors were sub .500, dismiss that as noise if you wish, but 2020 and 2021 we have a massive sample of them being 20 wins and curry had them at nearly 50 when he was on the field

Wade played 75 games in 2006 reg season, shaq played 59. Are you sure you dont have it the other way around?

A 52-30 is very, very good for what was honestly a very barebones supporting cast outside of 59 games of post prime shaq

You take Wade 2006 over any version since he won for a franchise that never won before. That matters when the debate is close.
