we've seen athletic pg's come and go. d-rose, francis, b-diddy, john wall, westbrick. Ja will be no different, these guys that are that small and attack the rim like that have short primes once their athletic ability fades

don't know, Trae set the bar pretty high last year. Leading the league in points and assists, only player to do it in over 40 years.

Trae did not lead the league in scoring or assists.

yes he did.
First player since Tiny Archibald did it over 40 years ago.
But you and everyone else don't want to talk about it because it goes against your narrative.

What are you talking about narrative? People don't have a narrative and just because Trae Young isn't being talked about doesn't mean people here have an anti-Trae Young narrative...
Grow up.

Trae got basically no attention for doing something that hadn't been done in over 40 years. There's people who post here who don't even know that Trae accomplished this amazing feat.
Let me ask you a question...if Lebron or anyone else led the league in total points and total assists what do you think the reaction would be? I guarantee that if Lebron did it while also barely making the playoffs he would still finish top 3 in MVP voting.
There is 100% an anti-Trae narrative. here and in the media.

Not to toot my own horn, but I'm on record in saying that Trae was the 2nd best offensive player during the RS last year, behind Jokic. I know looking at my name, it might seem like we are natural enemies but I respect Trae's work.

I'm in the same boat. Trae is my guy, but Luka isn't far behind. When I got two puppies in in 2020 I named one of them Luka.

The guy you are quoting definitely has Luka over Trae as he values post-season scoring and resiliency.
