Gonna be interesting when he has a bad Westbrook game lol. He balled out tho was great to see. The Clippers roster is a better fit for him with these two on the wings

Kawhii & George have been very good, but the Clippers have been atrocious defensively, just too small.

Trading Hartenstein for a guy they didn't even want to keep is one of those little moves that end a run before it has even begun.

Westbrook is past his prime.
I believe Kawhi could have been one of the greatest if not for injuries.
He plays better D than almost anyone his size and can score with the best of them,
He would be on my all time team if healthy.

Yeah but he's been past his prime since the 2018 season, so that's not super new.

He's a monster when he's healthy, no doubt. A little of everything. Not quite as dynamic a playmaker as some of the true upper echelon guys, but his scoring and defense is just wild. And he certainly isn't a bad passer. He's fun to watch; I loved having him on Toronto.

He turns 32 in 2 months and is going to be recovering from a torn meniscus, and who knows how long that will take considering his history. We've been blessed to see some strong longevity from some of today's players so hopefully he still has a handful more very good years left but who knows.
Kawhi''s Rankings among Active players:
628 Games (85th - tied with Gorqui Dieng)
19,733 Minutes (59th - just ahead of Reggie Jackson)
Now despite being 85th among active players in minutes, Kawhi's resume includes...
2 Rings
2 Finals MVPs
2 DPOYs
3 Top 5 MVP finishes (2nd, 3rd, and 5th)
NBA 75th Anniversary Top 75 Selection
*Ranked 42nd on the 2020 RealGM PC Board Top 100
It's absolutely incredible how strong his resume/reputation is despite the complete lack of durability. 85th in Games Played among active players, yet a no-doubt-about-it Top 75 player ever with an argument for the Top 50 or better!
Just a really unique player historically. I hope he bounces back next year and we see him healthy in the playoffs, the league is better with him around.
