Scottie Barnes is the reigning ROY yet playing in Canada as he does he doesn't generate a whole lot of talk. How good do you think he will be? This year? At his peak?

This video below is an exhibition game from a couple days ago but it's easy to see how much his game is already growing. Keep in mind he only just turned 21. And of course his versatile defense and hustle are givens.

This is a false narrative. He got lots of talk last year during the season. He hasn't been the main topic of conversation this off-season because there are new rookies, there was the Wemby/Scoot meeting, Draymond punched Poole, etc...

No idea what reasonable expectations are because development is rarely linear. He's a really talented kid who is probably going to have a good year. And yes, that gets noticed even way up there in Canada. I promise.
