Adding to the thought that it would just be MJ redux over again.

Considering Wade and Kobe are pretty close skill for skill as it is I suspect the player to be roughly the same as them individually.

I mean anytime you Frankenstein 2 top-30-50 players together you're probably going to get someone close to goat level unless they have a lot of overlap. And even in this case that's true.

Wade's a better slasher and defender, Kobe's a significantly better shooter, I would say there's a noticeable difference.

Assuming they're all at their peak:
Hedo Türkoğlu and Bruce Bowen (guarding prime LeBron while able to provide 20/5/5 on good efficiency)
Ryan Anderson and Draymond Green (imagine that pick and roll with Curry )
Ben Wallace and Kyle Korver (All time defender/rebounder and he can now run off screens to shoot at an elite accuracy)
Joe Johnson and Jrue Holiday (Decent scorer with shut down ability as well as leadership)
Chauncey Billups and Mikal Bridges (All around PG with shut down ability)
Andre Iguodala and Peja Stojaković (I would take this combination over Bird or Magic, GOAT candidate for me)

These hypotheticals players would wreck the game. Too much fantasy any time you can combine two players together.

So what's the combination here?

Are we just adding Wade's athleticism to Kobe? How are we squaring their disparate mentalities in their approach to the game and their divergent shot selection?

Kobe with Wade’s first step would be incredible to watch. Wade with Kobe’s health would be pretty incredible too.

Lebron would still be better.....maybe.....probably....idk.

There's a noticeably difference in athleticism favoring Wade, and shooting ability, favoring Kobe. How that ends up blended makes a large difference in this conversation, but I doubt this player would be equivalent.

I don't see how this Combination doesn't add up to 32.5 PPG, 6 and 6 on 50-55% FG. Wade with the Craftiness of Kobe. Kobe with the extra Athletic ability. Sheeeesh

Echo that you'd mostly just get Jordan. Jordan was basically a more athletic Kobe with a superior (at the very least more sensible) shot selection. That's precisely what you get by mixing Kobe and Wade.

I'm not sure about that. Jordan took a lot of crazy shots. He was just better at making them.
