Is Obi Toppin the same player as Miles Bridges?

He hasn't yet been given the opportunity Bridges had last year, but I feel their games are very similar. Roughly the same size, true PFs, high motor, effective cutters, great in transition, elite dunkers, passable 3pt shooters/defenders but not their strong points... I guess Bridges is more of a proven facilitator and Obi has a slight advantage as a rebounder but overall I can't help lumping the 2 together.
Agree or disagree? (not interested in the off court stuff in Bridges' case)

As a Knicks fan, I wish that were the case, but Toppin hasn’t proven himself to be nearly the player Bridges was a season ago — 20/7/4 on +3%rTS, playing a major role as a starter for a 43-win, near playoff team.
Toppin’s more heavily assisted offensively plays a lot bigger and is less adept with the handle and in creating his own shot (or creating for others). His advanced stats paint him favorably, but I wonder how that would translate to a bigger role/more minutes. I suspect he’d struggle.

I don't trust Toppin to create off the dribble as well as Bridges due to lack of handle, and not being as bursty with the ball. I also think that Bridges is a better defender in a more competitive situation due to strength, athleticism, and quickness.
