Butler for now. PG is too up and down. Eventually the answer may be Tatum in 3-4 years.

Surprised Jayson didn't get any votes yet...

Tatums impact stuff is really really good but also there’s a “lol no” factor with him

PG was a genuine mvp level guy I think in 2019 or near that

Jimmy is weird

I’d say healthy 2022 playoff jimmy is the best player here, I don’t think that should be too much a debate

The jimmy/Tatum/PG debate is pretty interesting honestly

This is comfortably the closest I've ever seen it poll wise with 5 options.

Peak
Butler > Rose > PG, Tatum > Lillard, all decently close

Factoring prime length
PG > Butler > Lillard > Tatum > Rose
This place is a cesspool of mindless ineptitude, mental decrepitude, and intellectual lassitude. I refuse to be sucked any deeper into this whirlpool of groupthink sewage. My opinions have been expressed. I'm going to go take a shower.

Until he is able to escape to the Lakers and wear number 824.

Sure but his prime also includes the 2021 post-season.

We never witnessed Rose's prime. He got injured at age 23.

I look at at this as an outlier as they came off the shortest offseason in NBA history.

Dude...2022 is just as much of an Outlier as his 2021 performance. It isn't fair or objective to say "Look at 2022 and how great he was" when ignoring 2021.

Here are Butler's post-season OBPM from 2015-2022 (His Prime)
4.0
2.7
2.3
4.4
4.4
-0.9
8.3

Do you see how there are two outliers?

How, when it's a 17 game sample off a normal offseason compared to a 4 game sample size off an extremely shortened offseason? You can't be serious.

8.3 is an outlier, just as -0.9 is, and by similar degrees [Mathematically speaking]. Butler never eclipsed a 4.5 OBPM in the post-season and all-of-a-sudden puts together a post-season which nearly DOUBLES his career high post-season and you DON'T think it is an outlier?

At this point in time, mathematically speaking, 8.3 is an outlier. That is what I am talking about, the term Outlier is a mathematical term which has a mathematical definition.

You think what jimmy did in 2022 is not an outlier? Look at the rest of his RS and PS games.

Rose is the only one with a league mvp of the bunch. Butler has the best finals performance. Lillard has been great for the longest.

Decisions. Decisions. Guess I'll go with Rose as he was a force during the 2011 and 12 seasons.

Not only the best Finals performance (2020) but the best overall playoff run (2022). Only real knock on Jimmy has been 3P shooting but he's upped his 3P attempts this season and is shooting it more efficiently. If he could sustain that to at least league average 3P% then it's clearly him for peak/prime.
