I still prefer peak Bird to peak Curry, and 87 Bird is basically 98% or so of that so yeah. Curry did have a better playoffs, no really denying that but the context behind both runs are very different obviously. If Bird’s defensive decline is more significant than I currently believe then I can be swayed in Curry’s favor.
