Which hybrid would you take for today's game, Steph Jordan or Nikola Duncan? Both hybrids only take the stronger among all attributes between the two players at their peaks.

Steph Jordan. It would be insane.

ND still lacks athleticism and is a big man so wont be able to take the ball up the court, so still relies on guards. Maybe I'd take Jokic - Wilt(or Orlando Shaq) combo over SJ, but not with Duncan

Steph adds more to Mike than Joker to Duncan, and Mike is the best player to start.

Steph Jordan. But both are so ridiculous that it's hard to conceptualize.

When exactly did peak Duncan lack athleticism?

Jokic with Duncan's defense would laughably dominant. I can't even imagine his two way impact.

It depends on what you mean by athleticism, Duncan was more mobile than Shaq or Wilt and he was still extremely strong.

I'd rather have the greater accentuated strength, in this case adding GOAT distance shooting to the GOAT player, because one can only exert so much energy on both ends. Put another way, making Jokic an ATG defender or Duncan the GOAT offensive big would mean sacrificing one of those strengths at various points thoughout the game...unless you also combined them with MJ's GOAT motor - now that player would be insane.

“What if Michael Jordan were an even better scorer, shooter, lead passer, and offball player” versus “what if Tim Duncan also happened to the best and most talented offensive big man in league history.”

I swear people just black out when they see Michael Jordan’s name. Ah, yes, Nikola Duncan would have to expend all that extra offensive energy making passes and hitting shots at a higher rate, and famously unlike Steph/Jordan he would need other players to win.

Nikola Duncan by some margin.

How much better is Curry offensively than Jordan?

It's the combination effect. The most feared offensive player ever becomes the greatest shooter ever to boot. He's now far and away the best offensive player ever and Jordan was already an all-time great on defense. Duncan adds nothing to Jokic on offense and I suppose Jokic just adds size on defense.

To say nothing of the physical and skill attributes, just adding Jordan's aggressiveness to Steph or Steph's willingness to play off-ball to Jordan would elevate the slight mental deficiencies of either player

Question is would Steph Jordan average over or under 40 points per game for his career post 1975?

And on 65% FG%, 50% 3P% and a 80% TSG%

I think Nash would be a better hybrid teammate for jordon, as the additional passing would do much more than the additional shooting to such player, in my view.
But I think it seems harder to appreciate what kind of impossible monster Nikola Duncan is, on both sides of the floor.

If you're using Jokic as the baseline on offense, then we need to discuss what Duncan adds to Jokic on defense, not the other way around.
