If Penny Hardaway was the starting PG for the Knicks from 92-95, his rookie to end of peak season, replacing the starting PGs they had, how do the Knicks fare? Wins, championships?
Ewing with another superstar is an interesting thought. Think he'd be looked on far more favorably.

Knicks had a chance to draft Sprewell in 92 but instead took Hubert Davis. Spre and Ewing could have been an early version of Shaq and Kobe without the egos getting involved. Especially on Ewing's part.

Sprewell wasn't a very good shooter and was high usage. Hubert Davis was a very good shooter and fit well as a reserve for the Knicks. I think in 93 with Penny the Knicks could beat the Bulls and could beat the Suns. Don't think they beat the Rockets in 94 or 95.
