Is the refereeing the same? The injuries and physical conditioning? Will Kareem still be dealing with his conversion to Islam and the murder of the group of Muslims in his house? Will he be dealing with the same level of racism and anti-Muslim (or more after 9-11!) from his own fan base as well as opposing fans?

Whole lot of variables that seriously affected Kareem's career not even including the on court stuff.
