Any players in their prime. One is restricted to players 6'4 to 6'9. The other 6'3 and below, with 6'10 and up. Pick your best fitting teams, not the best players. Post merger.

Who are they and who wins? I'll throw out..

LeBron
Bird
Magic
Mike
Kobe? Pippen? Malone? KG? A center like Cowens or Unseld?

Shaq or Wilt
Duncan
KD
Curry
Giannis

I think the talent level for Team Average survives the inside dominance of Team Extreme.

Average
G: MJ
G: Reggie Miller
F: Lebron
F: Bird
C: Ben Wallace

Considered having Kidd over Miller but I like the shooting threat and bigger height advantage on the perimeter from Miller with Lebron handling the ball. This team needs a paint protector, and all the top two-way 5's I can think of are above 6'9, so I'll take 6'9 Ben Wallace where his job is just defense. Abuse the strengths (perimeter height), try to mitigate the weaknesses (rim protection). Maybe there are some very old school 6'9 paint protectors that can score better than Ben Wallace but I don't know much about them.

Extreme
G: Jerry West
G: Curry
F: KD
F: KG
C: Kareem

This team would play through Kareem first, but obviously with some shooters if they send too much help. I like KG as help defender here over Duncan slightly just to help the guards on defense because they will probably need it a lot guarding MJ and Reggie Miller.

I don't know who would win tbh.
