Might just be different voting blocs? These are fairly small samples(rs thread got 8 votes, play-in 6, 3 right now). As I'm sure you're aware, there are different philosophies around era-translation and even guys like Kobe and Wilt are polarizing here.
The argument against team 4 would probably goes something like, there's only 2 people here shooting 3's, all these guys get worse now(i imagine erving/mullin would be the premier targets) and team 1 is a modern offense where even a bunch guy like embid hitting 3's like he does is a big shock for some of the opposing players on the rosters. Like my bet would be even a klay-thompson is a big WTF for players 2 decades or 3 back but if you do era-translation the "drop them from birth at another point" you get completely different outcomes.
There's also just how you see wilt/giannis. Do you boost Giannis for being arguably the best player in the most talented incarnation of the league, do you see wilt as the best era-relative ever? How generous are you with wilt translating forward? Do you give him suped up gasol/bam/noah passing? Do you say he doesn't move fluidly enough and drops a peg?
How do you see erving and the aba? ect.
I'm pretty strict with era-translation so to me team 4 might just get shot to oblivion, but many people are more generous with older folk than I am.
I did specify "they have an off-season to adapt" to try and narrow the framework down, but I wouldn't be shocked if most voters ignored that.
