no disrespect, if the fathers team could win 1 game out of 5, it would only because the sons are trying to be nice.

Does having peak international Sabonis instead of peak NBA Sabonis move the needle for you?

I don't think even peak non-NBA Sabonis should start over Ewing/Walton

Well it's hard to evaluate peak international Sabonis since I never saw him play but he's traditionally rated very highly and his stats are very nice. The prospect of an athletic 7'3 300 lbs player with great scoring and playmaking skills and who is also very good defensively is pretty impressive.

You omitted some relevant fathers: Paul Pressey, Scottie Pippen, Dolph Schayes, George Mikan. If you are not sure how the last two would translate, Pressey and Pippen still would provide a decent boost to the fathers.

Everyone peak and healthy, Walton is one of the top 5 centers all-time. The problem was he was never that healthy, even in his only season he made it through the postseason and won the title, he still only managed 60 some games in the RS.

I'd play him with Ewing and bring Sabas off the bench though I can see if you are using modern game you want to run a 4 out offense. If you do, between Glen Rice and Rick Barry, Rick is more the PF type. Both are better than Kiki Vandeweghe, I'd be starting Klay and Kobe on the wing, and any of the 3 fathers are better at center. I'd probably be using JJJ as my PF too, you have so much shooting, the extra defense would be more valuable.

The problem is that Curry's shooting is just such a magnificent weapon, even against Stockton he gives you the edge because although Stockton is a 40% shooter from 3, in his era he was trained to pass first and only take the 3 if they left you open and you didn't have an open cutter or post player.

1 year peak, I can see Pressey and Pippen being starters. OF course if you are looking at Pippen as a father, LeBron could play for them too as Bronnie is in the draft pool talk.

I think the Fathers Team is better at both the C and SF positions (by comfortable margins, in fact, especially at SF), and a couple of their C's are excellent in complimenting or bringing out the best in their perimeter counterparts.
And PF is at least close, too.

That being the case, I can't see the Fathers team being so severely outmatched as has been said.
