IF you could add Giannis to any team that failed to make the playoffs (assuming all free agents resign with their current team and ignore contract issues), would you then rank that team for next year as: (piggybacking off the same thread about Damian Lilliard)
1. Contender (one of the teams with a legit chance of winning a ring if healthy)
2. Playoff team (including playin game, but not likely to advance much beyond the first round)
3. Still a mess (not likely to make the playin, even if healthy)
EAST : Pacers, Wizards, Magic, Hornets, Pistons
WEST: Mavs, Jazz, Blazers, Rockets, Spurs

I will lead it off and say that Giannis (if Unseld proves to be a good coach) is exactly what the Wiz need to be a legitimate title contender.
Offensively, he gives us a lead scorer, allowing us to move Beal and Porzingis down to 2nd and 3rd options and hopefully Kuzma to 6th man. On our end, we can surround him with 3 point shooters at every position (Porzingis, Beal, Morris, and whoever wins the starting 3 spot) and good depth. Our primary PGs are not ball dominant and Beal has shown a willingness to share the scoring and play off ball or on ball as well.
Defensively, he will work well with Porzingis or Gafford and can move to the 5 with Avdija, Kuzma, etc. playing the 4. He fills the team's biggest defensive hole.
Always assuming decent team health.

Playoff team: Wizards, Pacers, Mavericks, Jazz, Blazers, maybe Orlando
Still a mess: Hornets, Spurs, Rockets, Pistons
The Wizards and Mavericks would be the strongest teams but I would still think they are pretenders with their cast.

Mavs are contenders with Giannis
Wizards and Blazers are on the level below the contenders
Pacers, Jazz, Magic are playoff teams with potential to win a series
Spurs, Rockets, Pistons, Hornets at best playin but hard to see them getting in playoffs. If they do they lose in 1st round.

Mavs are obvious, particularly once Kidd is fired, Portland with Dame would also be wildly potent. Indiana with Halliburton and friends on the perimeter and Turner would probably need a year of seasoning and would then be a juggernaut. Wizards and Jazz would be interesting teams with potential.
