How far would this ‘93 Knicks team go if everyone was in their peak/prime form?
‘87 Doc Rivers
‘84 Rolando Blackman
‘96 Anthony Mason
‘94 Charles Oakley
‘90 Patrick Ewing
‘96 Greg Anthony
‘95 John Starks
‘98 Hubert Davis
‘90 Tony Campbell
‘90 Charles Daniel Smith
‘86 Herb Williams
‘87 Tim McCormick
Since Rolando had a much better NBA career than Starks, I figured to put him in the starting lineup since this is all primes and as good as Tony C was for Minnesota, Rolando fits better with the starters. Even though Mase didn’t actually start in ‘93, his unique point forward skills give him the edge over Charles D. Smith and Tony C. 6th Man is either Starks, Tony C, Smith or Williams.
We get a better version of Herb who’s more playable rather than the one who was basically to the Knicks what current Udonis Haslem is to the Heat now, and a better and healthier version of Tim McCormick who’s also more playable rather than the one who couldn’t suit up much because of his injuries that led to him retiring while his contract was still on the books for ‘93, ‘94 and ‘95. Because his contract was technically on the books for ‘93, his peak version is in the lineup.
