Both had insane playoffs. Who was better?

Reaves had a 17 pts per game playoffs with 44% from 3 and 62% TS, along with 4.6 assists, and looked for long stretches the 2nd most important Laker.

Martin had a 14 pts per game playoffs with 44% from 3 as well and 70% TS (!!), while also playing great defense (1.8 DBPM). He's also been the hero of game 7 against Boston. You might also argue he was more important than Bam for some stretches.

Martin, especially when you factor in his defense.

I really like Reaves, he played great but it's definitely Martin.

I love Reaves and do think he’s a guy that since the russ trade sustainably has played at a level he could average 20 a game without bron, since alotnof it is from his halfcourt self creation

But Caleb for sure lol, bro was insane this series. I think Reaves will be better though

Martin for me. The defensive gap is just too big.

Reaves passing gives him this. He threw way too many high level ones in my opinion. He was legitimately scary for Denver with a live dribble.

Caleb is a little springier and can get more and different shots off comfortably at weird angles but it isn't coming close to closing that passing gap.

Both clearly good, clearly not elite defenders.
