09 Wade and 22/23 Jokic is a very good debate Imo, I think using a CORP/Estimated +/- scale - they are both around +6 players in aggregate value & consequently are both T-15 peaks since the merger pretty firmly.

In a team building sense, I think how well they fit in various contexts serves as a wash. Offensively, Jokic is much more scalable. However, I see the concerns about fielding a great defense around him as tangible in contrast to Wade whom I regard as an all time great guard defender.

At the end of the day, can’t go wrong with either - and it’s a fun debate. As a late bloomer and (again) in contrast to Wade who peaked early, I’m curious as to when:if Jokic will surpass his career value and how early such could occur.

Close comp for me, I'd narrowly take just this season.

I have '06 as peak Wade, extended playoff run matters for me over '09/'10.

I may have concerns about fielding an elite offense around Wade in situations that does not involve LeBron and slightly passed prime Shaq

I take the last 3 seasons of Jokic over any Wade season.

That is true, as his game isn’t quite scalable. But when it comes to floor raising, Wade’s game is quite valuable (supported by RAPM / BPM / On-Off / so on). OTOH, some people might not be as high on floor raising without the floor being as vast to the point where it leads to 50+ wins and a respectable SRS mark for example, so I get the concerns you are alluding to.
