Better 3 year defensive peak

3 year defensive peaks. Order these four defensive greats:

Garnett, Ben Wallace, Kirilenko and Anthony Davis.


By metrics; Defensive Rating and Defensive Winshares -

KG best three years-
04, = 92DR, 8dws
05 = 99DR, 6dws
08 = 94DR, 6.2dws

BWallace best three years-
02 = 93DR, 7.2dws
03 = 90DR, 7.9dws
04 = 87DR, 9.1dws

AK best three years-
04 = 97DR, 5dws
05 = 102DR, 2dws (41gms = 4dws, 82gms)
06 = 101DR, 4.3dws

AD best three years-
15 = 100DR, 4.2dws
17 = 102DR, 5.1dws
18 = 102DR, 4.9dws

Taking into account only years considered in the OP:

1. Garnett
2. Wallace
3. AK
4. Davis

I would take 2018/2020/2023 Davis over Kirilenko, but not with 2015 version there.

You can choose any years you want, I was going by the BR metrics.

Looks like Wallace is clearly the best.

If that's the case, then Kirilenko is last. Wallace has a very solid case over Garnett for peaks (not so much for careers).

Kirilenko those three years was something else. He was a monster defending inside and outside. His versatility might make him better than AD.
