However, they did just win possibly the easiest championship in modern NBA history. I don't think you can compare them to some of the all time greats. The NBA wasn't very top heavy this year.

The final form matchups I'd see is probably
KCP on Curry
Murray on Klay
Brown or MPJ on Iggy to help
Gordon on Draymond to switch PnR
Jokic hiding on Barnes
Are we sure the Warriors are just gonna completely outshoot the Nuggets to the point that their massive OReb advantage doesn't hurt them. The Nuggets have 4 or 5 guys in those lineups that can shoot. The Warriors have like 2.5-3 at best given how Barnes shot that series.
This isn't as lopsided as people think. Those Warriors had serious flaws once you adjusted to their split cuts and neuter the PNR. Their offense is NOWHERE near as easy to come by when everyone's final cards are played as it is for the nuggets who have 2 pure mismatches. And the Murray-Jokic PNR is more devastating than the Curry-Dray one because Jokic will kill Klay on switches while Draymond isn't gonna be able to do a damn thing vs KCP in the post.
The Nuggets went 16-4 this postseason lol and 2 of those losses they needed Booker to go supernova. This series goes down to the wire and I personally think Nuggets got it. Their offensive floor is higher imo
That SRS stat is dumb considering Miami played like a completely different team in the playoffs while the Lakers and Suns had midseason trades that completely upgraded the level of their team that full season SRS fails to capture. Their competition was fine.
Also Curry was hobbled by the Finals

Eh, that sort of list will skew-heavily towards older teams whose opponents generally took the regular season more seriously. Where it's available, something like Sansterre's srs-eq is probably more useful

Would be some incredible basketball I can tell you that much
To be honest with you, I’m not sure if the Nuggets beat the Warriors this year. They would obviously be the favorites, and I do think that they probably pull it off, but there’s some doubt there. The way the Warriors handled them last year gives me a lot of pause even though Jamal Murray is a much different player and a plus defender these playoffs, Aaron Gordon has become a stopper, and Jokić is a much better defender as well. Even in their sweep of the Lakers, there were some really close games that could’ve easily turned if not for some 29 foot stepbacks or heaves. I don’t think there’s any basis to compare these nuggets to the 2016 Warriors.

Assuming you have a table already put together, could you give me those averages without 1st rounds? If not, no worries.
