Who goes 1 to 10 in hindsight in 2019? Who is the #1 pick?
I'd go:
1) Morant [#2]
2) Zion [#1]
3) Garland [#5]
4) C.Johnson [#11]
5) Keldon [#29]
6) Herro [#13]
7) Barrett [#3]
8) Claxton [#31]
9) G.Williams [#22]
10) D.Hunter [#4]

Considering the issues surrounding Ja and Zion, I think Darius Garland would go #1 if the draft was held at this moment. The best ability is availability. Although Ja and Zion may be more talented, they can't show that when they are not on the floor. It's tough to do a redraft because I frankly don't know where to put Ja and Zion.

I definitely respect this viewpoint as I'm very high on Garland and he doesn't seem to have the issues that Zion/Ja have, but I'm not quite there yet. I think Zion/Ja are still seen as having way higher ceilings than Garland.

1. New Orleans Pelicans - Darius Garland
They draft a stable, off-court free Point Guard who is an all-nba Caliber impact player by years 3 & 4.
2. Memphis Grizzles - Zion Williamson
While the weight and passion is in question, gun free, especially in a community like Memphis, is important. Zion also has best player in the league potential where Ja Morant tops out as an all-nba caliber guard.
3. New York Knicks - Ja Morant
They get their star in the big apple. Not an ideal place for someone with Ja's issues but there is enough to gain here compared to Memphis that he could be surrounded by better people who care more about his image and well-being.
4. Atlanta Hawks - Nic Claxton
They pair Trae Young with an elite young Center who covers all his issues [they didn't have Capella at this time].
5. Cleveland Cavaliers - Cameron Johnson
They fill a void on the wing after LeBron had departed. Dynamic offensive player and elite shooter.
6. Phoenix Suns - De'Andre Hunter
They add a large, toolsy wing with good size to pair with Booker as an elite combination.
7. Chicago Bulls - Tyler Herro
The Bulls go after an elite back-court mate to pair with the young and promising LaVine.
8. New Orleans Pelicans - R.J. Barrett
They add a nice wing to the mix of Ingram/Garland/Ball as a promising young core. Lots of talented players here with lots of tools.
9. Washington Wizards - Kevin Porter Jr
They get a lead ball-handler to pair with Beal in the backcourt.
10. Atlanta Hawks - Keldon Johnson
He pairs well in the back-court with Trae Young. A trio of Trae/Keldon/Claxton with Collins is a very promising young core.

So, with us in 2019, I actually think it's too early to do a meaningful re-draft for me.
I think Zion, Ja & Garland are the 3 big talents from what we've seen to this point.
The Lakers come in at #4 clearly looking to acquire Anthony Davis, and so who do they pick? The selected pick (Hunter) ended up in Atlanta, so should we be looking at what the Hawks want next to Trae Young? Nic Claxton comes to mind, but I'm really not confident.

Yup--we really are getting too close for a re-draft [I think OP should start going backwards, not forwards].
RE Garland vs Morant vs Zion
To think Garland would be in this conversation after year 2, you would have had to tell me Morant/Zion are either injured or have off-court issues--and both are true to a degree.
Something to think about: Morant has played on better teams each of the past 2 seasons than Garland.
Morant Total +/- in 2022 & 2023: +491
Garland Total +/- in 2022 & 2023: +814

The fact that the debate isn't over yet is what makes discussions in this thread fun. Who wants to discuss if Shaq, Lebron or Duncan would go #1 in a redraft? Boring and obvious.
