Who's the better player - prime Granger or 23' Markkanen?

Could you put forward your argument on why you think Granger belongs in this comparison?
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Offensively Markkanen put up great numbers with very good efficiency (25.6 points with 64% TS) , but peak Granger (09') put up similar numbers (25.8 PPG) also with great efficiency (58% TS is pretty good generally, and even more for those years). On the defensive side, while Granger wasn't an elite defender by any means, he was pretty good and for me he has a pretty clear advantage on this side of the court, but you might disagree.

I'll look up some stats later if you tell me what year I should use as Grangers peak.

It's an interesting comparison, and that's about where I landed with this.

If we are considering portability into this era, Granger would be excellent if not better, I dont have quick access to adjusted efficiency statistics but it would surely narrow the gap further in that regard.

This is really close.

Lauri: 25/8/2 on 155.8 TS+, 4.9 OBPM, .173 WS/48
Danny: 25/5/3 on 117.3 TS+, 4.9 OBPM, .158 WS/48

I have Granger's defense as the deciding factor in an otherwise extremely close offensive comparison.

Both in Age 25 seasons and both large outliers when compared to their previous seasons in their careers.
