Back up for Looney, get a shot blocker or a stretch big 3 point shooter

Warriors have no shot blockers and no stretch bugs.
Looney rebounds well but is not a **** blocker or a shooter. Looney plays good defense by moving his feet well and by being smart, energetic and by clogging the right holes but Looney does not jump and does not block many shots.
Some fans love 3 point shooting centers and some fans love shot blockers but the Warriors can only offer vet minimum contests and players that both block shots and shoot 3s cost more than vet minimum with the possible exception of Jay Huff.
What is more important at back up center shot blocking or 3 point shooting?

With Draymond at PF, a stretch big is more important. It's difficult to get by with a PF/C combo that doesn't really have a 3-point threat. That's why Porter started some games in the 2022 playoffs. It's why Love was an effective 3rd big for Cleveland behind Mobley/Allen (and Cleveland needs a stretch big bench option as well). A shot blocker without range won't see the court outside of injury replacement minutes.

I say a stretch big. One devils' advocate I can see for the shot blocker's case (in theory) is if they happen to be a good PnR partner that can establish that consistency and frequency playing with / off of Chris Paul. Of course, I reckon either would be staggered with Looney - but I see a stretch big fitting better alongside Green. This answer could change if TJD [their R2 pick from Indiana] exceeds the expectations and gets playing time.

Work out a deal with Kuminga and Moody to Toronto for Boucher and a protected first. Boucher is both a decent stretch energy big and a shot blocker who doesn't seem to have a major role in Canada with all their top talent concentrated at forward and a focus on rebuilding.
Now, if you are asking who you could get without giving up anything at all, forget I mentioned it.

Looney shouldn't even be a starter. It's rather interesting that while most of the elite teams right now feature a top tier big (Jokic, Bam, Embiid, Davis, KP, Sabonis, Lopez), GSW doesn't seem to see it as an urgent need. And they've got the assets to get one if they really want. Towns has flaws, but he's gonna raise Golden State's championship ceiling.

It's because they still plan to close games with their "death lineup" of small ball shooters and ballhandlers.
