What era, what rules, which refs, for how many years? It's close enough that there may be a difference between playing in the pre-pace-and-space era and going forward. If you are averaging over NBA history (including years without a 3 ball) the answer is different than for the 23-24 season.

Today's game or 2000's (Which is my favorite era) In today's game I'd go with Steph/Wilt on Golden State's current roster. For the 2000's, Oscar/Duncan

I'm liking Magic/Kareem here. Obv this duo existed irl but I would love to see a younger Kareem and a late 80's Magic playing together simultaneously.

You go with the duo that actually existed and proved what they could do together!

Russell & Bird would also be fantastic!!

My favorite year was 1975 though I recognize all the problems of that era. For NBA of 75, I'd go Russell/Bird (at PF), for ABA, I'd go Wilt/Curry.

A lot of close teams here. Jordan/Howard are probably the worst because I don't think Howard is on the level of these other guys.

Bryant and Leonard are pretty good but both are wings, and I would say every other team has at least 1 player better than either of them.



After that it's hard to say. I ended up with Magic/Abdul-Jabar but Duncan/Robertson is a very close second.
