Let's take the following seasons for argument sake:
89-90 Patrick Ewing regular season per 100 possessions stats:
36ppg 5bpg 14rbpg, 10 fta at 78%
PER: 26 ws/48: .205 BPM: 5.5
+12 relative True shooting
10-11 Dwight Howard regular season per 100 possessions stats:
32ppg 3.3bpg 20rbpg 16 fta at 60%
PER: 26 ws/48: .235 BPM: 5.3
+14 relative True shooting
99-00 Alonzo Mourning regular season per 100 possessions stats:
34ppg 5.7bpg 14.7rbpg 11fta at 71%
PER: 26 ws/48: .226 BPM: 5.3
+14 relative True shooting
I am too lazy to get all of their playoff stats but they all had a BPM around 5 and played well in the postseason.
Who do you think was best against their competitors that year and who do you think would be the most effective if dropped into the NBA next season and let's say they were added to a team like Portland with Dame still on the team?
