I don't see it. I struggle to envision Scottie exerting the same sort of defensive pressure today as he did in his own time, and his struggles with scoring out of the paint are also problematic. And he was a good playmaker, but not a great one, very much not a dude you want playing helio or shouldering a heavy load.
I could easily see him participating on a good team, I mean we have all seen Draymond. But I don't believe I'd think twice before taking Tatum over Pippen. Again, in a contemporary environment.

I mean Draymond is a much better floor-general, defender, and passer than Scottie. Are we sure Draymond wouldn't be better than Pippen today?
