First stipulation, nobody gets injured.

Best of coach Steve alert added onto coach Jack Ramsey.

Walton, Maurice Lucas

Best of current Draymond and Feb 2016 Draymond added on to best of Lloyd Neal. Draymond will give Lucas more rest.

Bob Gross
Best of back up small forward Corky Calhoun added onto next of Feb 2016 Klay Thompson and best of current Klay.

Larry Steele. Herm Gilliam

Best of Feb 2016 and Best of current Curry added on to Johny David who was quite fast.

Lionel Hollins.
Twardzik

Feb 2016 on 73 win team may have been the peak for all 3 of Curry Klay and Draymond. By the time the 2016 regular season ended the Warriors were somewhat burnt out. Curry was playing injured and the 2016 Finals and was not close to as good as Feb 2016 Curry. Current Curry does some things better than peak 2016 Curry did.

The 1977 Blazers were the youngest champions ever. Current Warriors big 3 are very experienced.

Draymond shot 3s somewhat well in 2016
Nobody on this team other than Curry, Klay and Draymond.

Is only 3 players that shoot 3s even if they are the best 3 point shooter enough 3 point shooting to win a modern championship?

Do you think modern teams are more athletic than the 1977 Blazers? My bet is that the 1977 Blazers were faster and more athletic than current teams including last year’s Nuggets.

I am only giving this hypothetical team one regular season to learn modern basketball. Modern teams are allowed to travel but I think it would take the 1977 Blazers more than one season to learn to utilize legalized traveling.

After 1 regular season this team needs to be playing the right defense to play against moser 3 point chucking offense in the playoffs.

I figure Klay would split his time between small forward and off guard making the already deep Blazers back court even deeper. Peak Curry, Current Curry fast high jumping Johny Davis would be a scary monster of a player. I am not letting Twardzik get injured like he actually did in the 1977 playoffs.

Would this hypothetical team win the 2924 championship.
