So what last-digit Year has the best Peaks? By same-last-digit years, I mean all the years that have the same last digit. So if you pick the last digit "1", that would include the years 1951, 1961, 1971, 1981, etc. through 2021. If you picked the last digit 2, that would include the years 1952, 1962, 1972... 2022.
I'm thinking I might lean 7. That would include 1967 Wilt, 1977 Kareem, 1977 Walton, 1987 Magic, 2007 Nash, 2017 Curry, 2017 Durant, 2017 Kawhi, 2017 Westbrook. People might quibble over a few players though (e.g. some prefer 1964 Wilt > 1967, some prefer 2016 Curry or older Kawhi, etc.). From a team-building perspective, this year could do with a better power forward.
What do y'all think? 4 could have 1964 Russell, 1964 Oscar, 1994 Hakeem, 2004 Garnett, maybe 1964 Wilt or 1974 Kareem or 1984 Bird or 2014 Durant if you think those players peaked in those years. 6 could include 1966 West, 1976 Erving, 1986 Bird, 2016 Draymond, maybe 2006 Wade or 2016 Curry or 2006 Kobe or 2016 LeBron if you think those players peaked in those years.
